It's officially the first day of fall, and there's no better way to celebrate than by sampling all the fall-flavored menu items throughout the Capital City. Whether you prefer the ever-so-popular pumpkin spice or if cinnamon is more your taste, there's a menu item for every palate. We've rounded up a list of our favorites for you to celebrate the autumnal season accordingly.

Elsie's Plate & Pie - Seasonal Cocktails

While Elsie's Plate & Pie may be known for some of the best pies in Baton Rouge, they have also given us a sneak peek at their fall cocktail menu. With a sage-infused bourbon cocktail, a fall mimosa, a spiced hot toddy and a sweet potato pie martini, there's a fall-inspired happy hour option for everyone.

Cecelia Creole Bistro - Skillet Cornbread

While the skillet cornbread is a year-round staple on Cecelia's menu, it is packed with all the flavors of fall. With a maple bourbon glaze drizzled on top, this delicious appetizer is served with cinnamon whipped butter.

Rocca Pizzeria - Butternut Squash Stuffed Shells

Rocca Pizzeria has been releasing several fall-inspired dishes, and believe us when we say it's hard to choose just one to feature. Featured are the butternut squash stuffed shells – jumbo shells with ricotta, spinach and squash in a roasted butternut cream sauce. Other seasonal menu items are the burrata – served with oven-roasted delicata squash, sage pesto, spiced pumpkin seeds and a brown butter vinaigrette – and the spaghetti squash made with walnut gremolata, lemon zest and herbs.

Brew-Ha-Ha! - Seasonal Cake Balls

Brew-Ha-Ha! has already begun rolling out seasonal sweets, adding an autumnal twist to their already popular cake balls. Introducing flavors such as caramel apple and pumpkin spice, these fall-inspired cake balls are decorated to resemble caramel apples and pumpkins and are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

SoLou - Tabletop S'Mores

Even if you can't go to a bonfire, SoLou can bring the bonfire to you with their tabletop s'mores. While this dessert dish is available year round, it will make for the perfect fall treat during the cooler months. Nothing says "fall" like a warm fire and toasty marshmallows!
