Tucked inside the Shaw Center for the Arts on the fifth floor, the LSU Museum of Art offers a vibrant mix of regional and international art, exhibitions, and engaging programming.
As Baton Rouge's only dedicated art museum, it's built to surprise and inspire gallery-goers of all ages.
A Rich & Ever-Changing Collection
Step through curated galleries showcasing Southern portraiture, Chinese jade, and 6,500+ works that combine historical pieces with contemporary creations. You'll find rotating exhibits alongside the museum’s permanent collection.
