Blackwater United Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch has been a yearly tradition for over 30 years, when a handshake between a farmer and a minister sealed the deal. With some of the biggest pumpkins you’ll find in Baton Rouge, the proceeds for this seasonal event go towards helping the church and the community.

Watch as artisans perform live demonstrations of trade work and activities of the period, such as open-hearth cooking, basket weaving, candle making, wagon rides and more. Jefferson United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Jefferson United Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch is a fan favorite every year! As one of the church’s biggest fundraising projects, the pumpkin patch is also known for having a wide selection of pumpkins, and you can see it for yourself throughout the month of October.
Magnolia Mound Pumpkin Patch

Ring in autumn as you pick your own pumpkin from the patch, stroll through the historic house and grounds, and admire the Kitchen Garden in its fall colors. This one's worth the drive. Magnolia Wilds pairs a classic pumpkin patch with exotic animal encounters you won't find anywhere else, think kangaroos, camels, sloths, and otters all in the same afternoon. General admission includes a pumpkin from the patch, a kangaroo walkabout, hayride, corn maze, and corn pit, with add-on animal encounters available if you want to go deeper.
Mrs. Heather’s Farms Pumpkin Patch

A full day of fall fun for the whole family. Mrs. Heather's is open seven days a week, rain or shine, from mid-September through mid-November, with activities ranging from zip lining and face painting to duck racing and a hay maze. Kids get a pumpkin to take home included in the ticket price, and adults get in free, making it one of the better deals of the season.
