Mardi Gras is held all throughout the city of Baton Rouge! Most parades roll through downtown Baton Rouge, but there are parades in neighborhoods, such as Krewe of Southdowns and Krewe of Oshun, that roll through the Southdowns neighborhood and North Baton Rouge.
Baton Rouge is home to many family-friendly Mardi Gras celebrations held throughout the entire Carnival Season.
Mardi Gras in Baton Rouge kicks off on Kings' Day on January 6, and ends on Mardi Gras day, or Fat Tuesday.
