The Red Stick Farmers Market, operated by BREADA (Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance), is a producer-only market with over 50 vendors that has been in operation for nearly ten years. Located on Fifth Street between Main and North Street Downtown Baton Rouge, vendors consist of Louisiana small family farmers and local artisans. Items available for purchase include fresh fruits and vegetables, Angus beef, poultry, farm fresh eggs, dairy products, fresh baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, seasonal plants, native Louisiana wines, spices, sausage and cheese.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Baton Rouge Arts Market takes place alongside the Farmer’s Market on the corner of 5th and Main Street. Stroll through the Arts Market on the first Saturday and find a variety of hand-made arts including pottery, cast & blown glass, jewelry, metal sculpture, hand-made goods, mixed media, furniture, wood carvings, mosaics, photography and more!
