Can you hear the music? From casual restaurant patio performances to outdoor live music series in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, the sounds of live music can be heard throughout the Capital City each weekend this spring, and we've done all the work for you by rounding them up below!
ROCK N ROWE
Every Thursday from March 9 until April 27
Rock N Rowe is back at Perkins Rowe for the spring season! Grab your lawn chairs and dancing shoes because this live music series began on March 9 and will be rockin’ the Town Square at Perkins Rowe every Thursday until April 27!

BUSKING IN DOWNTOWN BATON ROUGE
If you’re strolling through downtown Baton Rouge on Fridays between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. – listen closely. That’s not just in your head! That’s the sound of musicians in front of the Courtyard Marriott Starbucks playing music outdoors, also known as busking.

Live After Five Concert Series is kicking off the spring series on April 14! Running each Friday evening until May 26 (with the exception of Friday, May 12), you can catch all the action at 5 p.m. in downtown Baton Rouge at Rhorer Plaza.

LIVE MUSIC WEEKENDS AT THE CROWNE PLAZA
The sounds of music can be heard all throughout the weekend at the Crowne Plaza this spring! On Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Crowne Plaza is hosting live music on the patio for free, with food and drink specials available, as well as a seafood buffet.
OMG! FRIDAYS AT LA DIVINA ITALIAN CAFÉ
Kickstart the weekend at La Divina Italian Café at OMG! Fridays! Primarily featuring original singers/songwriters, OMG! Fridays also feature comedy skits, poetry, various instruments and acting monologues. Be sure to get there early to get a good seat!
SUNDAY IN THE PARK
Every Sunday from April 2 until April 30, excluding Sunday, April 9
Presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, this spring series of Sunday in the Park kicks off on April 2 and runs until April 30, with the exception of April 9. Held at the Shaw Center for Arts plaza in downtown Baton Rouge, you’re going to want to make sure to add this free concert series to your Sunday Funday plans!
LEVITT AMP MUSIC SERIES
NEW MUSIC SERIES ALERT! Scotland Saturdays is the recipient of a grant funded by the Levitt Foundation, whose goal is to create welcoming, inclusive destinations through the power of music. This upcoming series will be held from May 13 – July 15, 2023, and will serve as inspiration to celebrate the rich musical heritage and highlight arts and culture in North Baton Rouge.
