The Capitol Park Museum tells a story of passion, adventure and discovery that could have happened only in the Bayou State.

With thematic exhibits on diverse aspects of Louisiana history, industry and culture, the museum includes two permanent exhibits: Grounds for Greatness: Louisiana and the Nation and Experiencing Louisiana: Discovering the Soul of America.

A 69,000 square foot museum and venue featuring thematic exhibits on the diverse aspects of Louisiana history, industry, music, culture and traditions. The Capitol Park Museum, a Louisiana State Museum, is located in Baton Rouge, and houses two (2) permanent exhibits, entitled
