Located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Downtown Baton Rouge, Riverfront Plaza is a 5.4 acre educational greenspace and outdoor event venue with water gardens, meadows, amphitheater, stages, walking/biking paths, artistic features and levee terraces. A recreational space along the Mississippi River levee directly across from the Raising Cane’s River Center. Riverfront Dock and Overlook Located at the edge of the Mississippi River, the dock and overlook over spectacular views of river activity and serve as a docking facility for visiting vessels. The dock features a shade structure and can accommodate small groups for events. Levee Stage Performance area for events and concerts of all sizes with the Mississippi River levee serving as background amphitheater style seating. Includes a dance floor with ADA accessibility to the stage and a sound system. The plaza offers seating atop the Mississippi River levee and features a fountain, a 4 panel mural, stage, observation deck, and access to the USS Kidd Fletcher Class destroyer.
