The Nightfall Celebration
Overview
Baton Rouge Fantasy Ball is a locally created, immersive fantasy event that blends the elegance of a traditional Louisiana Mardi Gras ball with the wonder of a Renaissance fair and the imagination of fantasy costuming. Returning for its second year in 2027, the 21+ event invites guests to step into a fantasy-inspired world filled with professional live entertainment, ballroom dancing, a costume contest, local artists and vendors, interactive experiences, chef-crafted bites, and more.
The Nightfall Celebration draws inspiration from romantasy and fantasy literature, immersive worlds, and imaginative storytelling, encouraging guests to arrive in everything from formalwear to elaborate fantasy costumes and character-inspired looks. More than a themed party, Baton Rouge Fantasy Ball brings together fantasy lovers, local creatives, performers, artists, and small businesses for an immersive celebration unlike the traditional events typically found in South Louisiana.
The Baton Rouge Fantasy Ball: The Nightfall Celebration will take place April 3, 2027, at The Lyceum Historic Meeting & Events Center in downtown Baton Rouge. The event is exclusively for guests ages 21 and older.
