Founded in 2025 by Kat Zhao and Jona Chen, Dumpling & Bao brings authentic Chinese comfort food to Baton Rouge. Specializing in handcrafted dumplings and bao, the menu reflects centuries-old culinary traditions rarely found outside Asia. After training under master chefs across Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou, the founders returned home to share their passion for honest, flavor-rich cuisine. Located on Siegen Lane, Dumpling & Bao is committed to enriching the local food scene—one dumpling at a time. Motto: Do One Thing, Do Well.
