The 10th Annual Marucci World Series returns to Baton Rouge!

Every July, the Capital City fills with more than 10,000 young players, families, and fans for one of the largest youth baseball tournaments in the country. Opening ceremonies kick off at LSU's Alex Box Stadium before games spread out across fields throughout the region.

Opening Ceremonies

Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 2:30 PM | Alex Box Stadium

The Marucci World Series kicks off in true Baton Rouge fashion with a Tailgate Party and Opening Ceremony at LSU's Alex Box Stadium. The afternoon starts off with food trucks, music, and games before the official ceremony takes the field, featuring a Home Run Derby, Fastest Man Competition, and other crowd favorite challenges. Best of all, this event is free and open to the public, making it the perfect way to kick off tournament week for players, families, and fans alike.
