Marty Engquist joins Visit Baton Rouge Board of Directors

BATON ROUGE, La. – Marty Engquist has been appointed to represent the Downtown Development District on Visit Baton Rouge’s Board of Directors.
Engquist is a downtown Baton Rouge resident and noted local philanthropist. The board position was previously held by Norman Chenever.
The 2023 Board of Directors Executive Committee includes Claude F. Reynaud Jr., Chair, representing Preserve Louisiana; Mary Stein, Vice Chair, representing the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Council; Gary Jupiter, Secretary/Treasurer, representing the Baton Rouge Lodging Association, and Scott Michelet, Immediate Past Chair, representing the Baton Rouge Lodging Association.
The remainder of the board members include Kim Ginn, representing the Baton Rouge Area Chamber; Councilman Rowdy Gaudet, representing the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Council; Mickey Freiberg, representing the Louisiana Restaurant Association – Baton Rouge Chapter; Gary Patureau, representing the Mayor-President’s Office; and Robyn Merrick, representing the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
