Official repository for Louisiana historical records. Extensive genealogy research library, two exhibit halls, and more than 30,000 cubic feet of archival materials. The library, located on the first floor, provides access to the thirty thousand cubic feet of records stored in the Louisiana State Archives, as well as books on general histories, census indexes, immigration schedules, church records, and family history.
