Overview
The Ogden Park Civic Association, artists, musicians, and Mid City businesses are hosting The Ogden Park Prowl on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The free arts and music festival welcomes residents of Baton Rouge and beyond to this delightfully eclectic neighborhood where over 100 local artists, makers and vendors will show and sell their wares, and musicians will perform at three stages throughout the eight blocks that make up Ogden Park. Food, drink, and refreshments will be available for purchase from local vendors and food trucks including Mestizo, Elsie’s Plate & Pie, Simple Joe, Barracuda Taco Stand and more. Look for the EBRP Library Bookmobile, performances by Refuge Aerial, and kids’ activities from Beyond Gymnastics, as well as crafts & face painting.
Ogden Park consists of eight blocks bordered by Government Street, North Boulevard, S. Acadian Thruway and Ogden Drive. For safety, the neighborhood streets will be closed to traffic and attendees are asked to park in available spots in the vicinity and walk to The Prowl. Optimum spots include the entire parking lot of Catholic High School and portions of Baton Rouge High. This year will be the ninth edition of the event.
