Louisiana Book Festival

Overview

The Louisiana Book Festival is a daylong celebration of readers, writers, and books and is designed to appeal to everyone, from the reluctant or novice reader, to parents, children and book lovers in general. The festival, presented annually, hosts a variety of book related programs and activities including panel discussions, book talks, book signings, cooking demonstrations, and more. It all takes place in the State Library, the State Capitol Building, the Capitol Park Museum, and in tents on neighboring streets.
