With our fresh-made kolaches and breakfast tacos, we're here to provide you with a quick breakfast that's as novel as it is nourishing. The Kolache Kitchen is locally owned. The original Kolache Kitchen opened in January 2013 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Will Edwards, a Houston native, saw the absence of kolaches in the Baton Rouge area. With overwhelming support from his family and friends, Edwards opened his first location less than two years after he graduated from LSU.
