THE BULLDOG BATON ROUGE

Kitchen open 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

The only thing better than beer and dogs is when the kitchen is open late for bar bites. The Bulldog Baton Rouge offers over 200 beers, 81 of which are available on tap, and bites from their menu as late as 12:00 a.m. Wednesday through Thursday. Coffee Call is a Baton Rouge institution for over 40 years, offering fluffy beignets or beignet fingers and fresh café au lait! If you’re looking for an evening pick-me-up or just having a late-night craving, they’re churning out these delicious treats until 12 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

 

THE CHIMES RESTAURANT & TAP ROOM – HIGHLAND

11 a.m. – 12 a.m. – Friday, Saturday

The Chimes Restaurant & Tap Room has been an LSU tradition for over 39 years, and while the full bar offers everything you can think of, the food menu is one you don’t want to miss. On Fridays and Saturdays, The Chimes’ gastropub favorites, such as po’boys and burgers, as well as a variety of Cajun and Creole dishes, are available to order at the restaurant until 12 a.m., with takeout available until 11:30 p.m.

 

MID CITY BEER GARDEN

11 a.m. – 12 a.m. – Friday– Saturday

Overlooking bustling Government Street, Mid City Beer Garden’s bar bites are anything but ordinary. Indulge in the classics, such as cheese fries or a burger or put a spin on your late-night meal with their infamous grilled cheese and tomato soup. At the end of the day, there’s no better choice for late-night food than pizza. If you’re looking for authentic, New York-style, thin-crust pizza, then Schlittz and Giggles is certainly the place!
