Pack for warmer weather: daily highs, even in the Fall, are well above what most are used to. We encourage sunscreen and the checking of weather in case of a pop-up shower nearby.

When you get here, if flying in, be sure to stop by the Visit Baton Rouge welcome center in the baggage claim area. Our friendly volunteers will be happy to help you navigate your way around the Red Stick.
Or, visit one of our various visitor information centers around town. You'll find information desks and volunteers at the Baton Rouge Regional Airport, downtown at the Visit Baton Rouge office, in the Baton Rouge River Center, and in the State Capitol building.
