The restaurant is the latest from chef David Dickensauge, who previously worked at Bin 77. Dickensauge left the Perkins Rowe restaurant to open restaurants in Mississippi, including Corks & Cleaver and 27th Avenue Burger Bar. For Dickensauge, Rico Louisiana Latin Cocktails & Cuisine is a return to one of his favorite cities, Baton Rouge. Rico offers an all-day menu with tapas, tacos, tortas, sides and salads. The menu also includes five options a piece for tacos and tortas. Some of the highlights include the Mojo torta with rubbed flank steak, crispy fried onions and queso fresco; and red chili chicken and braised pork shoulder tacos.
