Host your event at the Louisiana Old State Capitol!
Louisiana's Old State Capitol makes an elegant, unique memorable venue for events and special occasions.
The historic venue has hosted numerous private and community events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, galas, banquets, fundraisers, meetings and corporate luncheons. In order to help us care for our historic facility and its contents, please read our guidelines and policies which carefully explain the roles of the museum, caterer, florist and event sponsor.
Photography sessions, including bridal photographs, must be scheduled in advance and are allowed in designated areas on the first and second floors. Photographers and their clients will be required to work around visitors, exhibit items and items set-up for events. Photos must be taken during regular operating hours and must be completed during a 2-hour appointment. For fees and scheduling, please contact us.
