Updated September 12, 2024
Hurricane Francine has passed through Louisiana and Baton Rouge was fortunate to sustain only minimal storm damage. Our hospitality businesses are mostly back up and running, with a few altering their hours because of localized power outages.
If you are in need of a hotel room tonight, we encourage you to call our hotels directly. Their availability for this week is changing rapidly and will remain fluid as emergency responders assess storm damage in other parts of South Louisiana.
Throughout the storm, the Visit Baton Rouge team has been actively working to meet the needs of visiting groups and keep our partners informed. Our offices will reopen on Friday morning.
We are grateful that our city has weathered this storm well. If we can do anything to help you, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Jill Kidder
President & CEO
