Grab your ghosts and goblins and join us in the Capital City for Halloween. In addition to being known as haunted Baton Rouge, the city is known for its festivals and southern hospitality, and Halloween events are no exception!
From parades and festivals to corn mazes and zoo animals, there's sure to be something for the whole family to enjoy! So whether you're a visitor or local, we urge you to partake in the haunted happenings in the Red Stick this Halloween season.
Fifolet Festival Halloween Parade
Held downtown, the annual Halloween parade in Baton Rouge features colorful floats cruising down the parade route as riders toss candy and trinkets to folks standing curbside.
While the 2021 Fifolet Festival Halloween Parade has been cancelled due to COVID-19, the 10/31 Consortium will be holding a reverse parade, the Fifolet Flip Flop, in place of the traditional Halloween Parade.
Halloween in Baton Rouge is a month-long celebration and this festival features events including a Ghostly Gala, Zombie Pub Crawl, a 5K run, and the family-friendly Halloween Town set up on the Mississippi Riverfront.
