StoryTime in the Garden


Healthy Families Day, an extra special StoryTime in the Garden! Fun activities for children ages 3-8 years old and families, including storybook readings, family yoga, tour of the new children’s pollinator garden, a nature trail hike featuring pollinator trees, kid-friendly cooking demonstrations, activities by Junior League Community Projects, Capital Area Beekeepers Association demonstration on honey-making and bee hives.

Story Time in the Garden is a creative way of mixing storytelling and imagination with hands on craft activities for children. The program, supported in part by the Junior League of Baton Rouge, meets once a month to share the joy of reading with kids. Parents with children ages 3-8 from 9am to noon are invited to attend.

The event is open to the public for free admission.

Registration is not required. The event is free of charge.
