The BR Capital City Rotary is planning the 3rd Annual Global Community Day on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at LSU John M. Parker Coliseum. The event is educational and promotes diversity and understanding. It is a great event to bring our community together for an afternoon of fun and entertainment. I hope that you will join this year’s sponsors, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Louisiana Lottery, and Subway to help us to fund this wonderful event for the citizens of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.

The event provides education to children and families attending. Learning about the cultures of 20 countries without traveling is our educational goal. We will have printed passports for attendees to this event and they will be stamped at every booth they visit. This is to encourage them to visit all 20 booths. See attached survey from last year’s participants.

Our 20 plus country hosts are always excited to share their culture with the visitors. There will also be entertainment all day on the main stage in Parker Coliseum.
