James McMurtry is a Texas legend as a singer, songwriter and occasional actor. His music career started in his early teens but hit full stride when John Mellencamp became a fan and co-produced McMurtry's first album in the late 80s. A steady flow of intelligent country rock and folk followed. James has built a huge following for his live performances, both solo and with his band. McMurty's son Curtis is also a gifted songwriter while his father is famed author Larry McCurtry (Lonesome Dove).
Songwriter and semi-retired attorney Steve Judice has carved out a devoted following throughout the Southern States. Steve plays solo and as part of the Louisiana songwriting collective The Three Amigos. He is a favorite on Radio Free Texas and is currently working on his fourth album of original songs. Steve has opened shows for Guy Clark, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Billy Joe Shaver.
