Inaugural Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony/Pilgrimage to the Mississippi River Levee

46 States and the District of Columbia, all who have created Juneteenth Legislation, will unite in an effort to create a greater sense of awareness of the need to establish a National Juneteenth Holiday.  At 12:00 noon, participants across the United States will come together and raise the Official Juneteenth Flag.

 Please join Baton Rouge African American History Museum for a short program and a Pilgrimage to the Mississippi River Levee. In respect of time, the event will only last an hour.

 Suggested Wear:   African Attire-White Clothing-Red-Black or Green if available
