Capitol Park Museum is hosting a moonlight picnic! Join us for the inaugural Full Moon Feast Friday, Oct. 6th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the lawn of the museum.
The full moon has always been a magical time of reaping enjoyment from the month’s yield and gathering with friends and loved ones to share in the energy of this Harvest Moon. Bring your own picnic basket of goodies or let one of our local chefs create a special dinner for you, ready for pick-up!
Magpie Cafe, Indie Plate, Bergeron's City Market and Heirloom Cuisine will offer “picnic packages” to nourish your body and soul. Add cocktails and wine pairings to your meal from Blend's Head Sommelier, Scott Higgins (sorry, no outside alcohol permitted).
Tables, chairs and linens will be available for a small rental fee or bring your own, anything goes! This picnic under the stars includes music by the bluesy and soulful Quiana Lynell. All eyes will be on the moonrise, which is expected at 7:44 p.m.
For this evening of casual elegance we suggest you come dressed in the twilight shades of the moon (as seen on invitation).
