Located in our Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre on North Blvd.
Alright, folks. You asked for it, now you got it
The CHARLES BROOKS COLLECTIVE is back with powerhouse vocalist Margaret Fowler to bring you Round 2 of their melodic and mind-blowing Pink Floyd tribute experience! Their gaze remains fixed on WYWH but they'll also be paying tribute to other Floyd classics and faves they didn't get to in Round 1. Join us Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Hartley/Vey Theatres in Downtown Baton Rouge as the CBC takes you on yet another magical Floyd journey, guaranteed to transcend reality and leave you in tears ... again.
The Charles Brooks Collective is an experimental jazz-fusion group out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Known for their modern improvisatory techniques and their mind-blowing live performances, the guys are influenced by musical greats like Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, The Weather Report, Jimi Hendrix, and Pat Methany. The Collectives improv techniques combine with traditional jazz harmonies as melodies fuse with modern rhythmic application influenced by world music, thereby taking audiences on quite the experiential journey with their eclectic celebration of music.
