The City Nature Challenge is a four-day friendly nature competition that takes place across the globe from April 30 to May 3, 2021. This is a free event where nature lovers are taking pictures with their phones using an app called iNaturalist to record nature. The goal is to see which city and surrounding areas (Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. James, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana). Any observations made in these areas count toward our numbers. This is our first year participating in this event. Help us get our number up and learn about nature at the same time! Go to http://www.brnaturechallenge.org for more information.

* Many events in Baton Rouge have been proactively postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19. For the most up-to-date event information, please check with the specific event's website or social media pages.
