Maestro Timothy Muffitt and the Baton Rouge Symphony continue the 71st Orchestral Series by celebrating Mozart’s 264 birthday with “Mozart Birthday Bash”. This one night only event will feature four principal musicians from the BRSO: Rachel Ciraldo, flute; James Ryon, oboe; Darrel Hale, bassoon; Angela Bagnetto Finley, horn.
“I’m thrilled we have the opportunity to feature four of our veteran wind players whom our audience has come to know and love,” Maestro Muffitt said. “Collectively, Rachel, Jim, Darrel, and Angela have over 40 years’ experience with the BRSO and Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante is the perfect piece to showcase their tremendous talents.”
Also on this all Mozart program are his Divertimento for Strings and Symphony No. 38, “Prague”.
The performance takes place Thursday, September 26 at First Baptist Church Baton Rouge. This concert is proudly sponsored by Baton Rouge Symphony League with additional production support provided by Performance Contractors.
