The 13th annual Baton Rouge Pride festival will be held from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Raising Cane’s Baton Rouge River Center Arena. Organizers say the new venue will help this year’s festival be even bigger, when approximately 10,000 people attended and more than 90 organizations and businesses participated in the resource fair. BR Pride is the largest family friendly indoor GLBTQ pride celebration in the South (if not anywhere), and this year's entertainment lineup will feature returning favorites and for additional information visit www.batonrougepride.org.
The celebration also offers a special area just for kids and this year will once again highlight "marriage equality" with a giant blessing of relationships and celebration, as well as actual weddings for interested participants, featuring a variety of local clergy and officiants.
Admission is free.
