Our mission is to share musical enjoyment other dulcimer enthusiasts and all acoustic musicians by playing old time and modern music; to improve our musical skills; to play gigs so others may experience the beauty and versatility of the dulcimer; and to teach the simplicity of the instrument. We are a non-profit organization that strives to entertain and bring joy to others through our music. Along with the mountain dulcimer classes, there will be classes in hammered dulcimer, bowed dulcimer, bass dulcimer, autoharp, ukulele, penny whistle, mandolin, steel drum, fiddle, and percussion instruments.  Classes begin on Thursday afternoon with an all-instrument ensemble class and continue throughout Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Each class lasts 90 minutes. Sacred Harp singing sessions will also be offered.  For more info, visit www.lagniappedulcimer.org
