Unfortunately, the Baton Rouge Oyster Festival  has been cancelled for Saturday, August 28, 2021 due to all of the 2020 and 2021 current events.  Thank you for all of your continued support and understanding!

This year's Oyster Fest in Baton Rouge will take place on August, 28, 2021! Spend a few extra days enjoying historic downtown Baton Rouge celebrating the mother of mollusks - the oyster. Oysters take center stage and we'll be shucking, cooking, and eating dozens of the briny, meaty little shuckers. Live bands all day. Visit our website to see the lineup.

The Annual Baton Rouge Oyster Festival is a free and open-to-the-public event and is made possible through the financial support from sponsors and beverage vending sales. Attendees are encouraged to purchase food and drink from the festival and its vendors. Ice chests and pets are not allowed on the festival grounds.

Baton Rouge Oyster Festival gives attendees opportunities to try food for over 20 different restaurants from all over Baton Rouge. Shucking and eating competitions as well with a top notch music lineup

Join the shuckin' party to support Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana in their efforts to restore & protect a sustainable coastal Louisiana!
