If you've been keeping up with Visit Baton Rouge's Miss USA posts on social media, then you've probably seen posts with the hashtag #KrewedeCrown.
So what exactly is #KrewedeCrown? Well, the Krewe is comprised of 8 members from the Baton Rouge Social Media Association, BRSocMe. They have assumed the role of social media ambassadors for Visit Baton Rouge, assisting in coverage leading up to the 2014 Miss USA competition, which will be held in the Baton Rouge River Center. This week, #KrewedeCrown will be providing coverage during the preliminary competition, red carpet, live telecast and more. Follow the conversation using #KrewedeCrown!
Without further ado, here are our eight members of #KrewedeCrown:
Kristen Dufauchard
Kristen Dufauchard considers herself an agent of change and sees digital media as the best way to massively connect people’s needs with resources available to meet them. As the digital media specialist for Baton Rouge Community College, Kristen manages an overall digital community of nearly 12,000 people. She also trains and consults small businesses and nonprofits on digital media best practices through her boutique PR firm, Figure 8 Consulting.

Erin Fullbright
Erin Fulbright is a Media Specialist for Southern University and a social media lover! Originally from Southern California, she loves the way digital media is connecting people all over the world. Working as a member of #KrewedeCrown, Erin hopes to show the world the beauty of the place she calls home now, Baton Rouge! #GoBR
Rebekah Johnson
A PR professional for 15 years, Rebekah Johnson has worked for industries spanning healthcare, automotive, not-for-profit and government agencies. A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Rebekah moved to Baton Rouge in 2007, when she drank the water, tasted the familiar spices, embraced the humidity, and immediately became an LSU fan.
Chelsey Laborde
When Chelsey was accepted into college and received a college email address, she joined
Facebook. Literally all on the same day. Fact is, whether she likes to admit it or not, she was on MySpace before that. Interacting on social media is second nature to her and it’s something she's passionate about. As a #KrewedeCrown member, Chelsey is excited to share all #MissUSA experiences from a local's perspective.
Brandy McMills
Brandy is the LSU Coordinator at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, and an LSU Manship School alumna. When she is not working, Brandy is involved in the community as a BRSocME board member and a JDRF Baton Rouge chapter volunteer. A native of Louisiana, Brandy now lives in St. Amant with her fiancée, dog Bailey, cat Abner and two pet goats, Jake and Elwood.

Trace Purvis
Trace Purvis has worked in the digital realm over his entire career. After fulfilling web producer roles with Sports Illustrated.com, NASCAR.com, and PGA.com, Trace moved back to his native state to handle similar roles within the LSU system. Trace is currently coordinating social media platforms for Rotolo's Pizzeria.
