It’s that time of year again as we fall in love with Baton Rouge’s tastiest autumn-inspired brews. We’re exploring some of the Capital City’s best coffee spots in search of seasonal sips for crisp and cozy fall days.

We have to mention the season’s staple—a classic Pumpkin Spice Latte. For a little extra fall fun, try one of Brew Ha-Ha’s pumpkin spice cake balls while you’re at it!

CC’s Coffee House

CC’s Coffee is the master of the icy Mochasippi, and they’ve crafted one fit for fall— the Pumpkin Pie Mochasippi! Topped with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon, this frosty drink is made for those all-too-common warm Louisiana fall days. Try this one-of-a-kind ‘sippi at any of their locations across Baton Rouge. 


City Roots Coffee Bar

City Roots’ has quite the lineup of autumn-inspired specialty brews. Our favorites include their Cinderella Latte, Pumpkin Latte, Pumpkin de Crema, and Spiced Pumpkin Chai. These fabulous brews can be served iced, hot, or as a classic milkshake so you can enjoy them all no matter the weather. Visit them in the Electric Depot to try these fall flavors. 


Coffee Joy

Cinnamon and apple are a match made in autumn-flavored heaven, and Coffee Joy is serving the perfect twist with their Apple Chai Cider. This combination of apple and spices is a must-have for curling up by a fire with a good book on a fall evening.

French Truck Coffee

French Truck is a beloved coffee shop in Mid City with endless charm, perfect for sipping away on their outdoor patio on a crisp fall day. Their seasonal blend is the Rougarou filled with sweet notes of chocolate brownies and pralines.


La Divina Italian Cafe

What’s better than one Pumpkin Spice Latte? Two! Find this season’s staple at La Divina, an Italian café located on the corner of Perkins and Acadian. 


Leola’s Cafe and Coffee House

Ghouls, goblins, and booze, oh my! Leola’s Cafe is serving up a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Tini, the spookiest, booziest crafted cocktail of the season. Another creative brew is their Iced Basil Pumpkin Spice drink that’s sure to refresh even the warmest South Louisiana fall days.


Light House Coffee

Another local favorite nestled near the corner of Highland and Lee, Light House has a jam-packed, fall-flavored menu full of sips and sweets! All fall they’re serving up apple Chaider, Hazel Berry Tado, Cinny Gin Capp, and last – but certainly not least – the Salted Caramel Pumpkin Latte. Each seasonal specialty comes with signature toppings like dried apples, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, cinnamon ginger, hazelnut, and elderberry syrup. Make sure to order the Pumpkin Crumble Muffin with maple icing – it pairs perfectly with any drink on the menu! 


Magpie Cafe

Caramel Apple Spice and everything nice can be found at Magpie Cafe. This quaint cafe favored by students and locals alike is a longtime staple of the Overpass District with loads of charm and crazy-good coffee. A few more of their fall flavors to mention are their orange clove syrup and Oatmeal Cookie Latte.

Rêve Coffee Lab

Are you craving Thanksgiving desserts but not willing to wait another month for the decadent flavors? Rêve’s got you covered – stop by and add a pump of their pumpkin pie sauce to your favorite coffee. 


Social Coffee

Located in Downtown Baton Rouge, Social Coffee is whipping up a whimsical list of fall brews including the Canadian Kiss—a caramel, maple latte—and the Swamp Thing—a combination of matcha and chai topped with creamy oat milk. They’re also serving their “Basic Fall Beverage,” otherwise known as a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Pair any of these brews with something delicious like a slice of Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread or an Apple Crumble Streusel.
