Hurricane on the Bayou

This new large format film takes audiences beyond the news headlines on a journey deep into the soul-stirring heart of Louisiana - before, during, and after the unprecedented devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane on the Bayou follows a group of four musicians as they uncover the electrifying culture of New Orleans; explore beautiful, alligator-filled bayous on airboats; recount their personal stories of Katrina; and most important, bring focus to the rapidly disappearing wetlands that are New Orleans's first line of defense against deadly storms. Louisiana Old State Capitol Portraits of the Presidential Hopefuls
Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
An exhibit featuring the works of Gary Noel with political commentary by noted political analyst and Louisiana native James Carville. It features portraits of Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Also, portraits of Governor Bobby Jindal, former Vice-President Al Gore, Mayor of Baton Rouge Melvin "Kip Holden" and political analyst James Carville. Note: Hours on Sunday--Noon-4:00 pm.

Louisiana Old State Capitol---Basketball Hall of Fame Exhibit

Louisianians on the Hill - A Congressional Exhibit
Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
An exhibit featuring photos and memorabilia from every living Louisiana congressional solon, it chronicles their time spent in Washington, DC in political service. Every former member has contributed items of personal significance. These political mementos provide a fascinating look at those elected officials and the times in which they served. Sunday hours are Noon-4:00 p.m.

The newest sky show turns the space theater into a time machine, transporting you across the universe over 13 billion years. From the time of the Big Bang, the doom of the dinosaurs, the appearance of Halley's Comet, and the Apollo 11 moon landing, all the way to the year 3001.

Secret of the Dragon

Come and explore the mysteries of the universe as two children ride on the back of magical dragon. From their perch they learn about worlds beyond their own and a bit about themselves. Also included is a tour of the night sky and stories about other seasonal constellations. Showing every Saturday at 10am and 5pm and every Sunday at 5pm.
