Baton Rouge Blues Fest is held every April in downtown Baton Rouge and is one of the oldest blues festivals in the United States. Louisiana is known to have bred award-winning blues artists such as Buddy Guy and Kenny Neal, and Blues Fest is nationally known for the soulful artists it showcases and for being a good time. The Baton Rouge Blues Festival has also pledged to remain free for all to enjoy and experience the magic that is the swamp blues in Baton Rouge.
