Bring your sleeping bag and sign up for an Overnight tour of duty aboard the USS KIDD. Your guide will lead your group on an extensive walking tour throughout the ship where you'll learn all about the life of a World War II sailor. Tour the museum the following morning after enjoying breakfast under a P-40 fighter plane. Patches, dog tags, and souvenirs are available for purchase in the Ship's Store. Minimum group size of 20 people to register.

Join Chef Celeste Gill this Saturday as she welcomes up and coming chefs from the Louisiana Culinary Institute to the weekly Fresh from the Market show. The chefs will demonstrate innovative recipes using seasonal produce found at the Market. The show begins at 10 AM in the North Street seating area inside Main Street Market. Don't forget to bring your cutlery and garden with you this weekend for professional sharpening by Doyle Hanson.
