In December 2011, the United States Bowling Congress began setting up for the 102nd Annual American Bowling Congress Championships Tournament set for Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Baton Rouge River Center will be the site of 151 days of consecutive play scheduled from February 11th until July 9th. More than 13,000 teams or 66,110 bowlers and their guests will visit the city to experience the sights and sounds of Baton Rouge. What does this mean for Baton Rouge? In 2005, Baton Rouge recognized a direct spend of $75 million dollars resulting from 66,590 registered bowlers and their 67,074 guests.
