BREC's Beaver Creek Golf Course

18 holes. Located only 20 minutes from downtown Baton Rouge off of Hwy. 61 in Zachary. BREC's Beaver Creek Golf Club is an outstanding public golf facility designed by Craig Schreiner and Associates. Beaver Creek, located on the plains of northern East Baton Rouge Parish, features a windswept front nine and a sheltered back nine that meanders through protected wetland areas. The par 72 layout will provide golfers with many unique shot making opportunities. A lighted driving range, a large putting green, and a short wedge chipping area should shave a few strokes off your next round. Please join us for lunch at the 'Creekside Grill' and enjoy your post round exaggerations on the patio. Tee times are required and may be booked six days in advance.

BREC's City Park Golf Course

9 holes. Conveniently located off of interstate 10 and Dalrymple Drive. This 25 acre, nine-hole course is notable for its natural beauty, mature trees, lake vistas, a small bayou, and terrain that is mountainous for Baton Rouge. Built in 1928, designed by Tom Bendelow, it is one of 18 courses in the country to be placed on the national register of historic places as the community's first municipal golf course.

BREC's Howell Park Golf Course

18 holes. Howell Park Golf Course features a short, parkland-style, 18-hole course measuring 5,700 yards in length. A canal crosses 10 holes of the course, making club selection extremely important. Howell Park's layout is very walker- friendly and the pro shop offers pull carts for rent. You will find a brisk pace of play to your liking when you visit Howell Park. Tee times may be booked six days in advance.

BREC's The First Tee at Clark Park Golf Course

9 holes. The newly redesigned Clark Park Golf Course used as The First Tee of East Baton Rouge Parish was originally a nine-hole par-35 course, with eight par- fours and one par 3 measuring 2500 yards. With a donated design by Schreiner Golf Course Architects, Inc., it is now a nine-hole par-31 golf course, measuring approx. 1,861 yards with four par-fours and five par-threes. The course has a USGA rating of 29.4 and a slope rating of 90 and can be played in an hour and a half, making it an easy course for practice and a fantastic learning facility for the community. The lighted driving range includes grass and artificial hitting areas as well as chipping and putting greens.

BREC's Webb Park Golf Course

18 holes. The most popular of BREC's courses, is an 18-hole course that measures 6,656 yards in length. Large oak trees line the fairways of this golf course that is ideally situated off of College Drive. Locker room facilities are available for both men and women. Also at Webb Park, there is a fitness center. Learn to play better golf by being physically golf fit! There is a specially designed fitness area for golfers to work out, with plenty of equipment designed specifically to strengthen and enhance your swing. This course features small greens that are in prime condition and water in play on several holes. Locals say that people should come to Baton Rouge if you want to relax, play golf and eat good Southern food. Stephan Kay redesigned two holes in 1987.

Dumas Golf Course

18 holes. Located in Greenwood Park, Dumas Golf Course sits on Lavey Lane, one block off Highway 19 in Baker. The course is approximately 15 miles north of Downtown Baton Rouge. One of the best tests of golf in the parish, this course is an 18-hole layout measuring 6,596 yards in length. The driving range next door at Clark Park is available for pre-round warm up. LSU Golf Course

Located 3 miles from downtown Baton Rouge on a 250-acre setting adjacent to LSU, this is an 18-hole links style course which features 419 bermuda fairways and tif-eagle greens and has benefited from $5,000,000 in renovations in the past 6 years. Green fees are on the moderate to low end. There is a 30 station, lighted driving range, a lighted 9 hole pitch and putt course and a fully stocked pro shop that specializes in custom club fitting and locker rooms and showers are available. PGA instructors on hand. Hours of operation are from 6am till 9pm, 7 days a week, 364 days a year. Tee times required on Saturdays and Sundays only. Pelican Point Club

Built in 1998 on the site of an old sugarcane plantation, the Links Course features subtle changes of elevation combined with multi-tiered, sloping greens, some guarded by Scottish-style pot bunkers. While the 36 holes will give experienced golfers all they can handle, the multiple sets of tees offered make either course a pleasure for players of all levels. The center of activity at the semi-private facility is the 12,000-square foot clubhouse, which includes banquet facilities, along with additional amenities of a junior Olympic-sized pool and lighted tennis courts.

Prison View Golf Course

Prison View Golf Course is a nine-hole golf course featuring two tee boxes for an option to play 18 holes. Tee times must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cost to tee at the state's only maximum-security prison is only $20. The 140-acre course sits on the grounds of the historic Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, Louisiana and is the nation's only golf course situated on the grounds of a maximum-security prison.

Santa Maria Park Golf Cours

18 holes. Located one mile off of historic Highland Road near I-10. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. the course is built on 150 acres of rolling terrain, featuring 15 lakes and two natural waterways. Sand and grass bunkers, exquisite Bermuda fairways and ancient oaks provide the perfect setting for a memorable test of golf. The 18-hole course measures 6,826 yards in length from the championship tees.
